Col K.N. Rai, Sena Medal a post graduate in Psychology from famous Banaras Hindu University, and also a research scholar of Mental Testing was commissioned in the Indian Army in 1963 in the Jat Regiment. He fought the war with Pakistan in 1965 and also in 1971 in Bangladesh. He was Decorated with Gallantry award of Sena Medal For capturing Enemy Defence in Comilla City in Bangaladesh.

Because of his very rich Educational Background, he was posted in various Services Selection Boards as Senior Psychologist and Inter viewing Officer.

After his Retirement, On the inspiration on his wife Mrs. Israwati Rai, a great administrator and his well educated daughters Santosh, Ritu and Seemu. Col. K. N. Rai opened Famous Training Academy known as Col. RAI’s Success Academy For S.S. B. in Dehradun in 1994.The academy is known for the best training and highst rate of success every where in the country to Train the boys and girls to become officers in Armed Forces. Today the Success Academy is known for the best training & the highest rate of success in the country.
